WEBSITE REDESIGN CASE STUDY

MTK Screws

Before & After

A full front-end rebuild for Aggarwal Industries (MTK Screws) — what the client had, what an industrial B2B fastener brand actually needs, and what WebGraha designed and delivered.

Prepared by WebGraha for MTK Screws

OVERVIEW

MTK SCREWS · CASE STUDY

What this deck covers

01

What We Got

The live site we inherited — a generic template built around Aggarwal Industries, not the MTK Screws brand.

02

What It Needed

The gaps a real industrial B2B buyer and search engine both notice — turned into concrete requirements.

03

What We Delivered

A ground-up rebuild across every page: brand, catalog, trust content, and lead capture.

02

SECTION 01 · WHAT WE GOT

MTK SCREWS · CASE STUDY

The client, and the site we inherited

Aggarwal Industries trades as MTK Screws — a Delhi-NCR stainless steel and high-tensile fastener manufacturer with roots going back over 40 years (as G.S. Traders, Chawri Bazaar). Their live website was a generic template: functional, but built for no one in particular.

40+ yrs

Manufacturing history, but the old site listed the company as “Established 2023”

6

Pages: Home, About, Products, Gallery, Brochure, Contact

0

Pages covering certifications, quality process, or legal/privacy terms

OLD HOME

OLD PRODUCTS

03

SECTION 01 · WHAT WE GOT

MTK SCREWS · CASE STUDY

Auditing the old site

1

Generic template, no brand

Stock red/white theme, stock icons, footer credit to the template vendor — nothing said “precision fastener manufacturer.”

2

Wrong founding story

Copy claimed “Established in 2023” in one breath and “40 years of experience” in the next — confusing for buyers checking credibility.

3

Keyword-stuffed SEO text

Product pages repeated “Best Steel Screw Manufacturer in [City]” across ~20 near-identical paragraphs — thin, duplicate content that hurts rather than helps rankings.

4

No proof of quality

No ISO/BIS/DIN certification content, no testing process, no technical specs — nothing for a procurement buyer to verify.

5

Weak lead capture

One generic contact form for every enquiry; broken-looking reCAPTCHA widget; no path from “browsing” to “quote request.”

6

No legal footing

No privacy policy or terms of service anywhere on the site.

04

SECTION 02 · WHAT IT NEEDED

MTK SCREWS · CASE STUDY

Turning gaps into requirements

Derived from the audit and what industrial buyers need; no separate written brief was supplied.

✓

A real brand identity

A distinct MTK Screws mark, industrial dark/red palette, and consistent visual language across every page — not a reskinned template.

✓

An accurate, credible story

The true 40+ year history (founded 1983, formerly G.S. Traders) told properly, with milestones a buyer can trust.

✓

A technical product catalog

Specs that matter to procurement: material grade, thread type, size range, DIN/IS/ANSI standard codes — organised, filterable, not a flat image grid.

✓

Verifiable quality & compliance

A dedicated space for ISO 9001:2015, BIS/IS, DIN/ANSI certifications and the in-house testing process, so buyers can self-qualify the supplier.

✓

A structured B2B enquiry path

Purpose-built RFQ forms (product, material, quantity, drawing upload) instead of one generic “message us” box.

✓

Legal completeness

A Privacy Policy & Terms of Service page, consistent with how buyers expect a serious manufacturer to operate online.

✓

Enquiries that arrive ready to act on

Every quote request should reach the sales team complete, readable, and one click from a reply — not as a bare form dump.

✓

A way to see the factory remotely

Buyers across India and export markets can't all travel to Greater Noida — an edited factory tour video stands in for the site visit.

06

SECTION 03 · HOME PAGE

MTK SCREWS · CASE STUDY

Home: from banner to buyer journey

BEFORE

AFTER

Hero reframed around the industrial buyer: headline, credibility stats, and two clear CTAs instead of a static banner image.

Trust bar (40+ yrs, 4,000+ clients, 100% quality tested, 25+ countries) replaces the old unlabeled icon counters.

Quality process, certifications, and industries served now live on the homepage — the old page went straight from hero to a flat product grid.

07

SECTION 03 · ABOUT PAGE

MTK SCREWS · CASE STUDY

About: from a paragraph to a track record

BEFORE

AFTER

The real founding year (1983) and journey are told as a milestone timeline, resolving the old page's “2023 / 40 years” contradiction.

Mission, vision, values, and a named leadership team give the brand a face — the old page had none of this.

A sustainability section (carbon footprint reduction) adds a credibility angle aimed at modern industrial buyers.

08

SECTION 03 · PRODUCT CATALOG

MTK SCREWS · CASE STUDY

Products: from a flat grid to a spec sheet

BEFORE

AFTER

Old category pages buried a handful of products under walls of duplicated “Best Screw Manufacturer in [City]” text — all removed.

New catalog is organised by category (SS Screws, High Tensile Bolts, Nuts, Washers, Custom) with real spec tags and DIN/IS standard codes.

A custom-drawing upload CTA turns the catalog into a lead-generation surface, not just a picture gallery.

09

SECTION 03 · PRODUCT DETAIL

MTK SCREWS · CASE STUDY

Product page: from FAQ filler to a data sheet

BEFORE

AFTER

Technical Specifications (material, thread, coating, standards, hardness) replace paragraphs of repeated city-based SEO copy.

Installation guidance, applications by industry, and related products help buyers evaluate fit without contacting sales first.

An embedded quote form captures the enquiry at the exact moment of product interest.

SECTION 03 · MOBILE

MTK SCREWS · CASE STUDY

Built for the buyer on a phone

HERO

TRUST NUMBERS

PRODUCTS

REQUEST A QUOTE

The hero keeps its two actions, Explore Products and Factory Tour, with a WhatsApp button always in reach.

The 40+ years, 4000+ clients, 100% quality-tested and 20+ states-served tiles stack cleanly on a small screen.

Product categories and the Request a Custom Quote block (Request Quote, WhatsApp Us) work as single-column cards.

11

SECTION 03 · NEW CAPABILITY

MTK SCREWS · CASE STUDY

New: a page built entirely on trust

DID NOT EXIST BEFORE

CERTIFICATIONS

TESTING & QA

ISO 9001:2015, BIS/IS, and DIN/ANSI compliance explained in plain terms, with certificate downloads.

In-house testing lab — tensile, dimensional, salt-spray, and hardness testing — shown as evidence, not just claimed.

A 5-stage inspection process, from incoming material to pre-dispatch audit, mirrors how procurement teams actually vet suppliers.

12

SECTION 03 · CONTACT & LEGAL

MTK SCREWS · CASE STUDY

A real enquiry funnel, and legal footing

BEFORE

AFTER

NEW: PRIVACY POLICY

Contact page

Quick-contact cards, a structured RFQ form (product, material, quantity, drawing), factory map, and an FAQ — replacing one generic contact form.

Privacy Policy & Terms

A page that simply did not exist on the old site — now covering data collection, usage, security, and buyer rights.

13

SECTION 03 · CUSTOM MAIL SOLUTION

MTK SCREWS · CASE STUDY

Enquiries that arrive ready to act on

1

Buyer submits an RFQ

Name, company, email, phone / WhatsApp, product category, material grade, quantity, size or standard, and requirements.

2

Checked before it is accepted

Required fields and email format are validated, and every field is trimmed and length-capped to keep junk out.

3

Logged as a record

Each enquiry is time-stamped and stored as one row, so nothing depends on someone spotting an email in a busy inbox.

4

Branded email to the sales inbox

A structured, MTK-styled notification lists every field, with Reply-To set to the buyer and a one-click reply button.

SECTION 03 · FACTORY TOUR VIDEO

MTK SCREWS · CASE STUDY

The factory visit, without the travel

Site board

Raw wire coils

Thread rolling

Sorting

Weight check

End card

THE PROBLEM

MTK sells to buyers across India and export markets. Most will never stand on the shop floor in Greater Noida, yet they are asked to trust the supplier with production parts.

WHAT WE MADE

A ~90-second tour (1280×720) that follows the product from raw wire coils through forming and thread rolling to sorting, weight checks, and packing.

WHAT WE EDITED

On-screen process captions such as “Thread Rolling Process” and “Precise Weight Verification”, a branded end card with the Aggarwal Industries logo and tagline, and a matching “Inside the Factory” thumbnail.

WHERE IT LIVES

Promoted from the Factory Tour button beside Explore Products in the home-page hero, so a first-time visitor reaches it in one click.
